Where it started
For me, software engineering began before I understood what engineering was. From a young age, I had an instinct to look at problems around me and believe they could be understood, broken apart, and solved. That instinct eventually became the foundation of how I approach engineering today.
How I approach engineering
I think about systems before I think about tools. Before choosing a framework, language, or architecture, I first define what the system must accomplish. I consider its constraints, interactions, requirements, and capabilities, then begin forming the system mentally before deciding what technology should support it. I am most engaged where software intersects with infrastructure, physical systems, operations, and decision-making, because that is where engineering can have the clearest real-world impact.
Professional and independent work
That perspective has shaped both my professional work and the projects I pursue independently. At an early-stage AI startup, I helped build production AI and cloud systems that automated engineering workflows for enterprise clients. I worked directly with stakeholders, translated operational needs into technical systems, owned infrastructure and deployment responsibilities, and debugged production issues under real pressure. That experience taught me to see beyond the codebase and understand the larger system a client, company, and engineering team are trying to create.
Today, I continue developing that perspective through simulation and embedded engineering projects. I am interested in systems that model real behavior, interact with physical constraints, or support decisions in environments where reliability matters. These projects give me room to study not only how software is written, but how it behaves once it becomes part of something larger.
Right now
I am completing a Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering and pursuing work in applied AI, embedded software and hardware-in-the-loop systems, simulation, and infrastructure-intensive engineering. I want to work in environments where engineering is the central discipline, creativity is encouraged, and rigorous processes turn ambitious ideas into reliable systems.
